I grew up hearing this phrase: "Curiosity kills the cat!" Did you hear that as well?
I never knew how that came about. I can only imagine it had to do with a cat trying hard to get a better view of something and died in the process. Who knows.
But this I know: when I heard it, it was said in the context of "you are asking too many questions" and "it's none of your business." This almost led to my death, not physically, but in another way.
