This is a lesser known series from radio's golden age, the Adventures of Frank Merriwell. It's based on the life of a fictional college athlete at Yale University during the early years of the 20th century. The character appeared in over 300 dime novels, and a few comic books. It first appeared on NBC Radio in 1934. Here are two episodes from the late 1940's.
