I Wasn't A Scrooge, But...
 
I used to seriously dread the holidays. I am totally serious, for years, as the holidays drew near, I would increasingly feel weighed down by this feeling of pressure of all the extra things I would need to do now, like shopping and decorating, on top of my regular, daily tasks and it just became a burden, not a joy.
 
Since then, I have learned a lot about self-care, especially when it comes to stress. I enjoy the holidays now. Even though there's still lots of things to do as usual during the season, I stay calm, peaceful, and present, enjoying every moment I can with family and friends.
