Recently, our school district passed a policy to lock our children’s cell phones away for the entire duration of the school day, denying total access of the device in an effort to limit distractions. The timing, and short notice regarding the voting on this policy has angered some parents, both inside and outside of our district. I discuss, and share my opinions and ideas.
