*It hasn't been our week, a late episode and Kendras mic dies 9 minutes before the end, luckily she was done with the important info, and as we pride ourselves on being unedited and unscripted, it's been left as-is, so enjoy?*🥴
Stuck scrolling the endless interweb, Kendra was having a rough time finding a paranormal story or such to cover.
She got to thinking about Halloween itself. Why the trick or treating? Why jack o'lanterns and ghoulish things? Light Bulb! The origin of Halloween!
Take a trip back in history, like waaay back and learn how things went from the Celtic celebration of Samhain, when it was believed that the veil between the living and dead was thin and they made sacrifices to keep spirits from damaging crops or creating other mischief, to the trick or treating, pumpkin carving we have today.
Be sure to check out Cryptic Soup Pod, our featured trailer this episode!
And another shout out from April to Crime Scene and Cupcakes!
