This case, in my opinion, fits into Category 1: Justifiable Homicide on The Gradations of Evil Scale Wendy Howard was abused by her ex-partner for almost 4 years before she was able to escape him. 14 years later, she finds that he has been sexually abusing the 16 year old daughter they share, for close to two years. After reporting the abuse to the police, the family is told to remain normal acting and nonchalant towards him during the investigation, but when he comes to their house, a confrontation ensues, ending with Wendy shooting in self defense and killing her abusive ex.
However, this is still an ongoing case, despite what the jury decided, so tune in and decide for yourself. Evil or not evil at all?
