In this episode, we dive into the world of Radical Accountability with special guest Nathan Riley. The conversation kicks off with a shared frustration towards the conventional medical model for childbirth, especially in the United States where 99 percent of births happen in hospitals. The alarming rise in induction and C-section rates, averaging close to 40 percent nationally, sparks a crucial discussion on accountability.
Nathan Riley, a passionate advocate for radical responsibility, challenges the common narrative of blaming healthcare professionals and institutions while neglecting personal responsibility. The episode explores the disruptive potential of making the existing system obsolete and emphasizes the need for individuals to invest resources, energy, and willpower in preventing reliance on hospitals.
