Jenn Philpott currently lives in Upminster, London with her husband Mark and their four children ranging in ages from 6 to 12 years old.
Jenn has a scientific background and a PhD in BioInformatics. She worked as a marine sciences lab technician (both on land and at sea) at the University of California; a genome lab software developer in England, and then as an IT consultant in the finance industry, before taking maternity leave in 2007.
Jenn is a baby-led and toddler potty training expert. She educates parents on the benefits and practicalities of relying less on nappies and more on human evolution to manage their babies’ bottoms. Her down to earth approach with unconventional ideas appeals to mainstream parents who are attracted by the logic of evolution.
