Description

Solomon, one of history's wisest and wealthiest individuals, discovered that life without God is like a hamster wheel - full of motion but lacking meaning. In Ecclesiastes, he describes earthly pursuits as 'hevel' (smoke or vapor) that cannot be grasped. The cyclical nature of life, our quickly fading legacies, and even the pursuit of knowledge all prove unsatisfying when disconnected from God. True meaning comes not from achievements, status, or possessions, but from fearing God and keeping His commandments. Life under the sun is merely smoke, but life in the Son (Jesus Christ) provides lasting substance and purpose.
