Spoilers!!!!
(Unedited notes) The scene opens up with a new Republic cruiser patrolling their sector when Baylen Skoll Shin Hati fly a disguised old Jedi ship they board the cruiser and kill everyone on board.
baylen frees morgan ellsbeth. (skolls fighting style is very reminiscent to Jedi.) we later, find out that baylen was a Jedi and even built his light saber at Uyang’s temple workshop.
Ahsoka goes to a nightsisters temple and extracts a key to a map that gives the location of Thrawn.
While leaving Ahsoka confronts a pack of assassin droids. Once she defeats them the droids self destruct and Ahsoka has to run from the scene. She barely makes it onto her ship.
After this Huyang and Ahsoka meet up with Hera Syndulla and discuss the two dark Jedi who killed the new republic captain. They are known as Baylen Skoll and Shin Hati. Hera suggests that Ahsoka meet with Sabine because she is the only one capable of cracking the key.
The Scene turns to Sabine on a speeder bike pacing through an abandoned highway. The leader of Lothal is perplexed why Sabine didn’t show up to the ceremony so he orders his guards to pursue Wren. She slides under a ship barricade and parks at Ezra’s former tower home.
Sabine turns on the last message Ezra sent the crew before the war.
Ahsoka lands on Lothal and meets with Sabine. She explains to Wren the Key. Sabine steals the key and goes back home. Ahsoka is upset.
Huyang is now able to identify Baylen Skoll’s lightsaber and he explains that Skoll’s saber matches his memory of a a young student at Jedi academy. This means that Baylen was once a Jedi
Sabine is at home when she is ambushed by assasin droids looking for the key. The droids make off with the key and Shin Hati confronts Sabine on Lothal. They duel until Hati brutally wounds Sabine with a stab through the torso. She leaves with the Key.
