In continuing with the Pride month episodes Sabrina covers the 2018 film, Boy Erased. A traumatic biography based on Garrard Conley's 2016 memoir of the same name. Presently only 21 out of the 50 states have fully banned conversion therapy and Sabrina takes the opportunity presented with this movie to help provide more information about this often unspoken practice.
Meanwhile, Elizabeth is pulled back into her religious upbringing and uses her experiences to fully expand on what the fundamentalist church really thinks about human rights (or a lack thereof). And despite how depressing all of this sounds - fear not! The girls lighten things up with music recommendations and one especially concerning tangent that would likely have Freud rolling over in his grave n (if only to get a better listen).
