In this episode, we share a powerful call to follow Jesus with renewed devotion and fresh vision. We begin with three Scripture-based prayer prompts. Are we simply doing “church stuff,” or are we wholeheartedly loving and serving Jesus? We then have a discussion about our vision equity (what God has been up to) and other changes for the church.
Scriptures Used:
- Deuteronomy 13:4 – A call to love, fear, obey, serve, and hold fast to God.
- John 12:24–26 – True life comes through dying to self and following Jesus; the Father honors His servants.
- Luke 16:10 – Faithfulness in small things reveals readiness for greater responsibility.
- Luke 8:21 (MSG) – Obedience to God is a stronger bond than blood.
- Hebrews 12:1–2 – Fix our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of our faith.
- Philippians 2:5–11 – Take on the mindset of Christ in humility and obedience.
- 1 John 2:6 – Walk as Jesus walked.
- 2 Corinthians 4:5 – We preach Jesus as Lord, and ourselves as servants for others’ sake.
The ReJesus Vision:
“ReJesus” is about realigning ourselves and our church to the person, mission, and way of Jesus—not just with statements but with a vision state of mind. It’s not about new strategies or events, but about returning to Christ-centered rhythms of life.
Key themes of the ReJesus Vision:
- Kingdom Mission: An incarnational pursuit—living out God’s kingdom in ordinary life.
- Deep Discipleship: Everyone makes disciples who make disciples; not through programs but personal transformation.
- Vision Requires Faith: God reveals the next steps after we move in obedience.
- High Invitation + High Challenge: Love and support with deep commitment and expectations.
- Radical Relationships: Obedience creates bonds thicker than blood.
- Prayer-Centered Life: Including prayer walking, lectio divina, and Spirit-led discernment.
- Empowering Every Believer: Everyone has a role. A church that equips only a few will cap its impact.
- ReCentering on Jesus: Real transformation comes through hearing and responding to His voice together.
Vision in Action:
- Missional communities to begin meeting every other week
- A new church name and space (Eugene Christian Church at the Stellaria room)
- Greater emphasis on training, calling, and spiritual gifts
- Repentance for prioritizing teaching and events over training and lifestyle
- Strengthening prayer rhythms and relationships

Invitation to Respond:
You’re invited to:
- Say No – If this isn’t your vision.
- Say Maybe – If not at this time. Keep exploring, praying, and seeking.
- Say Yes – Repent, realign, and recommit to prayer and training for Jesus’ call to make disciples who make disciples
