Description

The Bible never treats family as a disposable stage of life or a private side project. From Genesis to the Gospels, God reveals that His Kingdom advances through households, generations, and covenantal family lines, not isolated individuals.

In this episode, we explore how Scripture consistently frames faith as a multigenerational calling, beginning with God’s promise to Abram (Genesis 15:2) and extending through the Law (Deuteronomy 25:5–10), the teachings of Jesus (Mark 5:18–19; Mark 7:9–13; John 19:26–27), and the instructions of the early church (Ephesians 6:1–4; 1 Timothy 5).

We wrestle honestly with passages that challenge modern Western assumptions about independence, calling, and discipleship, and we discover that honoring parents, raising children, caring for widows, and integrating faith into household life are not distractions from the Kingdom, they are central to it.

This teaching calls families to stop compartmentalizing life and instead embrace God’s vision of intergenerational faithfulness, where identity, mission, and discipleship are lived together. Whether you are building on a godly legacy or pressing the reset button for generations yet unborn, your faithfulness matters more than you think.

God is telling a story through your family line, and its impact will echo far beyond your lifetime.
