Dr. Juan Mejia has been the president of Tyler Junior College since 2019. I met him in fall of 2021 when I started applying my self more and first started a podcast interviewing people who had an impact on me at campus. During our first interview I gained a great deal of respect for him. Post interview and afterward I learned that in every situation he embodies the principles of the school. He respects you holds you accountable and expects excellence, but he encourages and puts himself in the role of the servant instead of the role of a superior. He is one of the friendliest and most humble people you could hope to meet so lets do just that as we sit down and talk to Dr. Juan Mejia.
