Tonya Harry has been fighting for kids since the early nineties first as a case worker for CPS, working her way up to administration, before finally changing careers to become the executive director for CASA of Deep East Texas. We talk about the role of CASA in the life of a child in the foster care system, the experience of working as agent for Child Protective Services, and what people can do to help youth in these extreme circumstances. Tonya’s life like so many of the unordinary people I have met revolves around service, in her case service to children and teens in some of the most difficult experiences an adults could imagine. She is truly a remarkable person and I hope you will come with me to meet Tonya Harry.
