This week, we're joined by Danny Driscoll. Danny is a Bradford-born Manchester United fan, who grew up outnumbered in the midst of the fierce local rivalry between the Red Devils and Leeds United. Danny's Desert Island Goals unsurprisingly feature a few great players in Manchester United's illustrious history, but also gives us one moment of despair, as the Theatre of Dreams was silenced by a virtuoso visiting performance. We discuss which is United's greatest team of the Premier League era, and why a certain trio of English midfielders never combined to win anything with the National Team during the "Golden Generation" period. Warning: Danny is from "Up North," so his accent may confuse some listeners. Good luck deciphering it! I barely understood a word he said... (kidding).
