Dorothy's son Michael shows up out of the blue. Rose's daughter Bridget is also visiting before she heads off to Oxford. Blanche has also thrown her back out, but in an unexpected way. She winds up giving the two "kids" a pair of tickets to the Symphony. This leads to them do a lot more than just listening to music.
