The Australian Maritime Safety Authority this week announced it had banned a general cargo ship for being unsafe and unseaworthy. A hydrogen and methanol plant took a step forward in Tasmania, and police laid charges over an attempt to smuggle 800 kilograms cocaine into Australia on a bulker.
