"Be yourself, everyone else is taken."
The wise and cheeky words of Oscar Wilde, who was a gay man himself, couldn't ring any truer for our guest for the Pride special, Keko Morales.
Hailing from Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico, the sandboard instructor, filmmaker and overall amazing human being was shunned by his family for being gay.
Not only that, he renounced his family's religion as a Jehovah Witness at the same time.
As if that weren't isolating or devastating enough for Keko, he received some crushing news about his health that nearly destroyed him.
That is... until one fateful day.
