Debbie's goal is to bring more awareness to the different aspects, both recognized and unrecognized, involving domestic violence and the abuse cycle. She is a survivor of domestic violence and I has always said that if her story can help just one person escape their situation or help a family member to better understand how to support someone who is in an abusive relationship, then everything she went through would be worth it.
