Rawr Bar is a plant based, protein packed bar made from organic, real food ingredients. It is designed to fuel your life's #BoldPursuits. Rachel and Jake are passionate about quality ingredients. They do not use any fillers, binders or fake sweeteners. Their bars are dairy free, GF, Soy free, Non-GMo... all the things great! Rawr Bar was birthed from a pain point, Co-Founder Rachel, ex bodybuilder, was sick of feeling sloshy, bloated or having a gross aftertaste from protein bars. As a bodybuilder, high protein and low sugar was the goal. Macronutrient focused, after some health issues, she awakened to the importance of micronutrients and cut out all protein bars she had been eating, leaving a gap in her diet. This led her to the kitchen in 2015 where she began playing around with numbers to create a 20g protein bar with lower sugar and great taste. Her husband had walked a similar journey of health issues that also led him into holistic nutrition with a keen micronutrient focus. In 2017 Rachel and Jake felt the call to quit their financial/investment careers to go all in on the bar, but before launching Rawr Organics, they went to live in rural Mozambique Africa for a few months serving those in need. Rawr Organics launched June 2018. Not only are they passionate about health, but their biggest passion is to make a lasting global impact. Currently, Rawr Bar donates 10% net proceeds to two organizations that feed and equip hungry children worldwide.
