HELENA GURFINKEL BIO
Helena Gurfinkel is Professor of English at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. She has published widely on Victorian literature (particularly the fin de siècle), contemporary literature, literary theory, gender and sexuality studies, psychoanalysis, and, most recently, film. One of her current projects looks at the Soviet-era film and TV adaptations of Oscar Wilde’s works. She also serves as the Editor in Chief of PLL: Papers on Language and Literature.
