Greetings, my fellow padawans! We've made it to the penultimate episode
of Obi-Wan Kenobi. SPOILER ALERT We really get to see Hayden Christensen
shine as Vader. For a lot of Star Wars fans, that's a statement no one
expected to hear or read. However, with the release of the latest
trilogy (VII, VIII, & IX), many of the prequel "apologists" are
looking at the rest of the community with their "I told you so" face.
When I saw The Phantom Menace for the first time, of course, I loved it.
Jar Jar didn't bother me the way he bothered everyone else. Now, of
course, I realize that Lucas's blank check from Fox and carte blanche
approach to the dialogue and story, all the while surrounded by "yes
men," would produce the results on screen.
The poor dialogue continued in Attack of the Clones but not so much in
Revenge of the Sith. By far the best of the prequels.
