Join us this week as we celebrate Lights On Afterschool with students from the Propel Student Action Team from the Pennsylvania Statewide Afterschool Youth Development Network. The Propel Action Team is a scholar centered high school youth leadership group that meets regularly throughout the school year to discuss, strategize and address issues affecting scholars both in their schools and communities. Scholars learn the importance of civic participation in making change. They also learn about how to advocate for themselves and their interests. The team are champions for service-learning across their state.
