Studying, student life and stepping up to professional hypnotherapist

The leap from student to professional is both exciting and a bit (a LOT) scary. The learning curve is vertical and the path can be rocky in a few places...so what better time than this to interview someone about their current and lived experiences. Woo hoo! Seriously though - Graham is an absolute star and I am so grateful for his willingness to share this part of his business journey with us.  It makes for compelling and heart warming listening.  This episode is both raw and real and I won't hide the reality of that, because we tell the truth here.

Surely that's a terrible way to encourage people? Nope - knowing what to expect actually makes things easier, because it helps your brain start coming up with ways to figure that shit out and you already know, on some level, you can get through it. You have done many hard and complicated things in your life and this is simply the next on the list.

What makes thriving businesses different is they hold their nerve when their survival brain (and maybe their friends/family!) is telling them to go get a 'real' job.  What can be more real than changing lives? What can mean more than being told that without you someone might not be here today? But you can only do that if you're out there, doing it. And Graham is doing it, with aplomb.

In this episode we talk about his experience of training and getting volunteers, explaining hypnosis myths, deciding what you are and are not prepared to do as a business owner, the joy of doing what you love and Graham's very unique take on what to do if you're struggling...you'll have to listen to the end to hear the best line ever ;-)

So listen on my brilliant friend and let's go change the world.
