S8 Kick-Off // In this episode, Pastor Joshua Ortega kicks off our Fall semester by encouraging and challenging us to be men and women of courage and boldness. Follow along in Hebrews 1:11-18 as Joshua teaches about the trust of the biblical "heroes" and how they inspire us to live preposterously for God, despite our shortcomings.
(Side Note: The static-like noise in the background is a rainy downpour on the roof... it was loud for us, too!)
We read through one chapter each week and then come together on Sundays in house churches to discuss what we read. Once a month, we gather together for a more typical-styled service, where we record the teaching and upload it as our podcast. Our next episode will be next week--last academic year, we studied the Gospel according to Luke, and this year we're continuing Luke's account in Acts!
