Marcia Hines AM
Australian/American soul singer, actress and TV personality Marcia Hines arrived in Australia at the age of 16 and the rest is music history. Marcia rose to the top of the charts with14 studio albums,1 live album and 9 compilation albums to her credit.
From the early stage production of Hair at 16 and to go on to play Mary Magdalene in Jesus Christ Superstar, Marcia's career was assured.
Marcia was inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame in 2007 and she has also won 3 Queen of Pop awards in 1976, 1977 and 1978.
Countdown awards followed in 1979 and 1981. Australian Idol Judge and mentor and live stage performer. Marcia is much loved by her adoptive home all those years ago. It is indeed a huge pleasure to chat with Marcia Hines AM.
