Jesus hits the road again. Salome Zebedee, mother of the apostles John and James makes an unwise request of Jesus. Jesus and the Apostles leave Pella but spend two weeks with the 70 disciples plus another 1000 followers before heading to Jerusalem for the Passover. David Zebedee closes the camp in Pella which had now housed up to another 4000 pilgrims. Jesus gives a sermon on “counting the cost”. Peter and 100 followers take up swords in anticipation of a great battle with the Sadducees. Jesus heals the blind beggar in Jericho.
