Today we are going to talk to the CEO and Co-Founder of a leading gene therapy company AskBio Sheila Mikhail about a revolutionary technology of using a VIRUS to cure genetic diseases. Because of this technology the company inventor was acquired for $4 billion dollars.
My today's guest has over 20 years of Biopharmaceutical leadership experience. Most recently she served as Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of Bamboo Therapeutics which was acquired by Pfizer for $827 million.
In 2021 Sheila was named EY’s 2021 Entrepreneur of The Year National Overall Award winner.
