Blake and Jamison start off the new year telling the listeners what exactly it is that we do on this podcast. Then we waste about 45 minutes bantering about being dads, the doomsday clock/existential dread, and being wrong, before we jump into a discussion about the 2000 film Frequency with Dennis Quaid and Jim Caviezel aka Jesus Christ. Does it hold up? Not really. Do the mechanics of time travel in the film work? Not really. Is the acting good? Not really. Are there feels in it? Very much so. Then we go on a twisty discussion of time travel, dead technology leading to communicating with the dead, and a wannabe poet from the 15th century communicating with a teacher in the 1980s on a BBC Micro computer. It gets a little strange up in here on this episode, so please join us!
