John Sheehy has been the Director of Institutional Advancement at The 52nd Street Project for over 25 years. The 52nd Street Project is dedicated to the creation and production of new plays often for and by kids between the ages of nine and 18 that reside in the Hell's Kitchen neighborhood in New York City. Prior to this, John worked at Lincoln Center Theater where he was Development and Research Associate and research, and at the Long Wharf Theater in New Haven, Connecticut. John is also a lyricist and published playwright with a Master’s of Fine Arts in dramatic writing from Brandeis University. His plays have been seen in Boston, New York, Los Angeles, and Louisville, Kentucky.
