Our guest today is renown visionary artist Chris Dyer. In this conversion we dive deeply into Chris’ life, philosophy, personal beliefs, and the creation process behind his latest painting which is a self-portrait that symbolically tells the tale of his journey as an artist and depicts some of his tests and trials, and the lessons he’s learned along the way. We talk about how being an artist gives us a license to be “crazy” and to believe and express what we want in our lives without worrying about fitting in society’s norms. We explore his beliefs around Sasquatches as a reincarnated alien race and his perspectives about the future of this planet, as the old systems are crumbling and making way for the new. We have a fun conversation about superheroes, supervillains, and the power of stories and mythological archetypes to help us to become better humans. We share perspectives around ChatGPT and Ai generated art, and how these new tools are affecting our lives as professional artists. He provides insights around the anxieties and challenges that arise when traveling to foreign lands, and how he overcomes his fears and heeds the call to adventure, making the world a more colorful and positive place with the artwork that he leaves behind.
