Robert Ryan (Shivanesh) is an Incredibly prolific painter, tattoo artist, author, kirtan musician, temple builder and much more. He paints and tattoos in a distinct, personal style that finds its roots in American traditional tattoo art, that is blended beautifully with the Indian street painting style of Calcutta, India known as Kalighat Painting. Tattooing for over 25 years, Robert is part owner of Electric Tattoo in Asbury Park. He is also a highly disciplined spiritual practitioner and disciple of Rudra Abeisheik.
