Description

In this episode, we chat about an emerging identity. What does this even mean? Your emerging identity is something that happens when you find out who you are not. It is you in your truest form with none of the bells and whistles.

Plus! We get a little BTS of The Conflab and the team supporting me.

Here are my tips to start the beginning of finding your identity, starting with your emerging identity:

  1. Gratitude - find 3 things you are grateful for each day.
  2. Rest - this doesn’t mean sleep, this means finding peace in moments of each day.
  3. Solitude - spend time alone. This doesn’t mean pushing away your close people though!
  4. Prayer or meditation - Whether you are religious or not, find time each day to practice your own meditation.
  5. Develop a personal philosophy - a philosophy that you will not only live by but out of.
  6. Find out what your values are - THIS! What makes you, you?
  7. Say no - Say no to the things that don’t align with your values.
  8. Show empathy and compassion - seek first to understand then be understood.
