In this episode, Dr. Jamal reflects upon a pattern coming up in a lot of different providers recently. The intense self-critic, judge. It’s important to unwind this pattern so that we  can stay parasympathetic for ourselves thus preserving our energy.

3:05 | Reflection opportunity: How did this pattern get here? What was the stimulus that occurred originally? Where does this show up most? Where are you judging yourself? What are the areas? 

4:20 | Leverage your neurology. Recognizing your own light. 

06:20 | Your self care is as necessary as brushing your teeth, no time for spiritual cavities out here. Brush your nervous system

07:30 | Identifying where you’re at in your autonomic system. Dorsal vagal, sympathetic, Ventral Vagal

08:00 | How you know you’re progressing; recognizing where you’re at, implementation, and a lessened stimulus. 

09:30 | The power of savoring the ventral vagal moments. Great for spiritual digestion!! Helps you find your way home. Becoming your biggest cheerleader 

11:00 | Conscious implementation vs. Non-conscious reaction
