Description

This episode covers some of the factors and events that led to the spread of the message of Islam among the African-American community in America starting from the early 1930s. This includes how the group "The Nation of Islam" came into being and how it was a platform that led many African-Americans to come to orthodox Sunni Islam, especially after the Hajj experience of Malcolm X (Al-Hall Malik Shabazz) and the efforts of Warith Deen Muhammad to lead the followers of his father Elijah Muhammad to mainstream Islam as well.
