Description

In this episode, Celia Hensman, the Co-Founder and Director of The Disability Policy Centre, an organization that works on amending existing legislation and calls for the introduction of new legislation in the UK in order to create a more accessible world for disabled people, shares with us her experience about some of the harshness in her interactions with society.

Celia is an experienced political campaigner on disabled representation, inclusion, and accessibility, who takes pride in her disabled identity, working hard against systemic ableism, discrimination, and archaic stereotypes about the talents, potential, and ability of disabled people.
