Devan is a Honesdale, PA native who recently obtained a master's degree in Entomology: the study of insects. She works at Lacawac Sanctuary, a 500+ acre land preserve on Lake Wallenpaupack which is also home to a "pristine" lake. Devan and Adam talk about the way that insects fit into nature and also into the diets of 80% of the inhabitants of planet Earth. Devan shares some insect snacks and Adam brings in homemade pineapple-upside-down cupcakes.
