[Quick note: I'm (temporarily) switching back to audio files because I've been getting a bug with uploading new episodes. Hopefully it will be fixed soon. In the meantime, you can listen to the audio here or hop over to YouTube for the video version]
In this podcast episode, we talk about the concept of consistency and its relevance in various aspects of life, particularly in content creation. Being consistent is often emphasized, but life can be unpredictable at times and requires adaptability. I share my personal experiences (I do not adhere to a strict consistency schedule with my podcast and newsletter).
I've testing different days and times that work best for my audience, as well as making space for unexpected life events. Feeling guilty about inconsistent output is common but I really want to challenge your definition of consistency what it's significance in the things that you do. Consistency in content creation is advised because of the abundance of content available, and being consistently present helps maintain top-of-mind awareness.
But, I really want to encourage listeners to define what consistency means to them personally. Consider your own approach to consistency and find a balance that works for you.
