WELCOME BACK TO THE SIXTY SEVENTH EPISODE OF THE PROGRESSIVE MINDSET PODCAST.
In this weeks episode, I am joined by Jake Connolly.
Jake shares his journey of thinking he would be set for life after college, where he transitioned into a PPI job yet still felt curious to uncover his true purpose in life. At school, Jake remembers a moment when his mum was called in to be told how behind he was in his education. It was this moment that he remembered his mum remind him, "god loves a trier." With that, he kept focussed on always giving everything a shot which is exactly what he did when a life coach was brought into the business he was working in. This opened the door to the new chapter in his life of seeking how to become a coach. The experience of coaching liberated Jake, challenging him to step out of his comfort zone and explore how he can feel and be a success on his terms as an introverted character. It is with this knowledge and experience that he now helps introverts have fulfilling careers.
We discuss the importance of self development, the difference between being curious and procrastinating and how liberating it feels to make a choice in life about what you want to do.
This episode offers a rich conversation, moments of reflection and true honesty on Jake's part of the obstacles and challenges presented when you feel you can make a difference and help others but not know where to start.
Enjoy.
