Derek Brown was elected to the Utah House of Representatives and served there from 2010-2013. He served as Chief Counsel to Senator Robert Bennett (UT) then later to Senator Orrin Hatch (UT). He served as Deputy Chief of Staff and Utah State Director to Senator Mike Lee (UT). Prior to politics he practiced law for the international law firm of Sidley and Austin. He is an adjunct professor at Brigham Young University. He currently is campaigning for Chairman of the Utah Republican Party.
