From the point of view of an insider, it may seem as if the Web3 space is moving at warp speed, with a Cambrian explosion of innovation in all directions -- L1s, L2s, infrastructure, NFTs, DeFi, GameFi, and so on.
But the fact remains that the majority of the value on-chain is generated by "crypto money games", with little to no influence on the physical world.
For blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies to really fulfil its potential in a meaningful manner, as an industry, we are going to have to move towards a reality where assets in the physical world interoperate with the on-chain world.
