Your mental health is your responsibility. Don’t think that someone is going to wave a magic wand and all your struggles will be over. You have to put in the work: Casting down/disregard negative thoughts that also includes Check, Challenge and Change your negative thoughts. Understand that negative thoughts are not yours and it is your amygdala trying to protect you because you responded to the negative thoughts with fear. This activated your sympathetic nervous system and caused your body to be in panic mode (Fight, Flight or Freeze). So, put in the work Consistently and over time your mental health will improve. Tap into your spiritual connection (God) trusting that something bigger than you is helping you through which can aide in your recovery.
