We want to start off by saying we’re sorry for this one! It’s PsydeShow’s turn at the wheel and he’s driving us all insane with Claire Denis’ 2002 addition to the New French Extremity genre, Trouble Every Day. This is a pretty harrowing watch, so we’ll understand if you want to skip viewing it yourself, even though we highly recommend it before listening. The film follows two American newlyweds, Shane and June Brown, honeymooning in Paris. Only, Shane has ulterior motives and is in search of a cure for a ravenous disease he’s contracted that gives him quite the literal lust for blood. Fair warning, it gets bleak.
