It's time for PsydeShow to grab the wheel once again, and this week, we're going to church to worship at the feet of Saint Maud! Directed in 2019 by Rose Glass, this unique take on a possession/body horror follows Maud as she struggles to find meaning to her existence through a good ol fashioned helping of self-abuse in service of the big man upstairs. Exploring themes of religious fanaticism and isolation, this film shows the slow descent of a mind left alone with too much time to think and plenty of crosses to bear.
