Ohio State Football brought in Quarterbacks Will Howard and Julian Sayin from the transfer portal in January. With several months of preseason training and fall camp approaching, I want to explore Ohio State's competitive quarterback room and why Will Howard may not be the obvious starting quarterback candidate. Will Howard has a big frame, underrated scrambling ability, experience, and a cannon of an arm, but he also has accuracy issues and a habit of throwing bad interceptions. Devin Brown and Julian Sayin are younger players who arguably have more upside, especially Julian Saying, who is being compared to JJ McCarthy straight out of high school.
