Michigan Football played its final game of the regular season without head coach Jim Harbaugh, and let me tell you, I am glad Harbaugh will be back next week to take on Rutgers Football. Bowling Green took advantage of several lazy mistakes that came from Michigan's staff and roster. The Falcons also, in spite of several injuries, were able to drive down the field and make plays through the air. Michigan's defense, led by defensive tackle Kris Jenkins, was still able to force 3 turnovers and earn 2 sacks, which resulted in Bowling Green failing to score a touchdown. I think that our reactions to this game should be full of caution. This game was full of so many new mistakes and miscues that I think my analysis is limited. JJ McCarthy had an awful game, but this does not mean that he is a bad quarterback. On the contrary, it is more likely that Michigan's offense and McCarthy bounce back next week against Rutgers than replicate their performance from last night.
