It took the Buckeyes three quarters, but eventually, Ohio State Football pulled away from Maryland to win 37-17. Maryland Football has a bright future with Mike Locksley as their head coach, but unfortunately, Taulia Tagovailoa made too many mistakes and the Terrapins' defense could not hold Ohio State down forever. Ohio State rushed for 62 yards on 33 carries, with Chip Trayanum having 61 rushing yards and 1 touchdown. The rushing attack was atrocious because of poor offensive line play and questionable game planning. The Buckeyes' defense, along with Maryland's, impressed all day long. My reaction to Ohio State's performance against Maryland is one of deep concern. As a Michigan fan, I have a hard time seeing Ohio State beating the Michigan Wolverines if the Buckeyes continue to struggle to get into rhythm on offense and formulate a consistent rushing attack. I think having TreVeyon Henderson back will help the running game, but Chip Trayanum and Miyan Williams need to split carries as well and the offensive line's lack of physicality is not helping Ohio State Football's power run game.
