Ohio State Football dominated Purdue on Saturday. My prediction was 41-10 in favor of the Buckeyes, and Ryan Day's squad won 41-7. Both Kyle McCord and Devin Brown got involved in the game, with Brown being involved on quarterback runs and McCord was able to hit Cade Stover and Marvin Harrison Jr for touchdowns. Ohio State's defense held Hudson Card to 13/32 for 126 yards and 1 touchdown and earned 3 sacks and 9 tackles for loss. This defense is elite, and I think they have one of the best secondaries in all of College Football. Purdue's defense was able to generate a pass rush, but outside of that, they were disappointing to watch and overwhelmed by the Buckeyes' offense. My reaction to this game is my excitement for the Buckeyes taking on Penn State Football this weekend. Purdue was able to run the football on Ohio State between the 20-yard lines, and it will be interesting to see if Penn State can do the same, run into the endzone, or if Ohio State's defense bows up and shuts down the run. Purdue Football is in a rebuild and I think Ryan Walters will succeed. Ohio State Football, on the other hand, is still figuring out its identity.
