It took all four quarters for Penn State Football to pull away from Indiana in a strange 33-24 win. Indiana Football took advantage of several busted plays to create long touchdowns through the air, which resulted in Indiana either scoring quickly or doing the usual punting exercise. Despite having a 10-minute and 50-second time of possession advantage, the Nittany Lions struggled to move the ball on this tough Hoosier defense. Indiana quarterback Brendan Sorsby threw for 269 yards, 3 touchdowns, and 1 interception through the air, while Penn State quarterback Drew Allar went 20-31 for 210 yards, 3 touchdowns, and 1 interception with several inaccurate passes. This game shocked me, and I imagine if I were a Penn State fan my reaction would be one of concern. The offense looked horrid on Saturday, with Drew Allar having a below-average performance, the offensive line surrendering several stuffs by Indiana's defense, and a unit that overall did not have a sense of urgency or togetherness. The Nittany Lions only had 132 rushing yards on the ground, and if James Franklin and his squad want to earn a big win against Michigan in two weeks, the offense has to make strides.
